Minimising our environmental impact has been a fundamental issue for Gresmanc Group since day one. This firm commitment is embodied in an environmentally sustainable growth model that also enables us to offer innovative ceramic products of premium quality to our customers.
Our main business operations are based on the circular economy concept, with a focus on responsible production and consumption:
We invest in quality raw materials that guarantee the long-term durability of our products.
– We work with local suppliers.
– Re-use of water resources, returning them to the manufacturing process following treatment.
– We minimise waste production by crushing and blending waste pieces for subsequent incorporation into the productive process.
– Implementation of energy efficiency and saving systems that have led to a greenhouse gas reduction.
– Renewal of the low-emission commercial vehicle fleet to help reduce our carbon footprint.
The ceramic products from Gresmanc Group are made from approximately 54% pre-consumer recycled material from the productive process itself and contain no post-consumer recycled material.
100% recycled
The recyclability of our ceramic materials is also a feature that is valued highly by sustainability accreditation bodies. Upon reaching the end of their life cycle, up to 100% of the content of our ceramic products can be recycled in the following ways:
– Crushing and reuse as aggregate in the manufacturing of concrete or other construction materials. This can help to reduce the need for natural resources and minimise waste.
– Crushed ceramic materials can also be used in the manufacturing of new products, such as bricks, paving stones and even as filler material in compound construction products.
– The ceramic panels for Ventilated façadess can be reused in other construction projects. If ceramic panels are removed carefully, they can be used on Ventilated façadess in other new projects or renovations. Based on how the pieces are cut, between 60% and 90% of them can be reused.
– Energy recovery: If the ceramic material cannot be recycled or reused in any other way, it can be used for energy recovery through controlled incineration processes to generate power.
The recycling potential of our ceramic products makes a huge contribution to the circular economy model.

Quality and environment policy
Gresmanc Group has an Environmental Management System that is certified under UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 standards, as well as a Quality Management System certified under UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 and other environmental certification systems applicable to products, such as the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
