88 invitados. 88 miradas.
Held at the firm’s showroom at Velázquez 76, the event brought together 88 carefully selected guests—including some of the most influential architects, interior designers, and designers on the national scene—for an experience designed to explore the relationship between architecture, perception, and emptiness.
More than just a product launch, “Uno de 88” was conceived as a conceptual installation inspired by principles of quantum physics, where absence is no longer understood as a void but rather as a space charged with possibilities. This concept is translated into architectural language through O-Buit, a ceramic system that proposes new ways of inhabiting space, filtering light, and creating atmospheres.

The void—the absence of matter—as a design tool.
During the evening, África Macías—designer of O-Buit—shared the system's conceptual origins and the formal logic driving the collection: “The core element of O-Buit is a double-lobed piece that originated as an enclosure—almost like an embrace of the void. From this, the system’s other two components—the ring and the vertical oval—emerge, creating an open modular language in which the void ceases to be a mere absence and becomes a tool capable of building, filtering light, and creating new architectural experiences.”

Conceived as an open, versatile modular system, O-Buit expands the expressive possibilities of extruded ceramics in architecture and interior design. Screens, partitions, and visual filters take on a new dimension through a design in which geometry, repetition, and void play the leading roles.
With “Uno de 88,” Gresmanc Group and Fearless transform a product launch into a statement of intent: an affirmation of contemporary architecture understood as experience, perception, and emotion.
